I really don't get the hype around web3. (I was around for the advent of the web and and "web 2.0" and was excited about both) If you're a web3 believer, what's compelling about it for you?

By 1995 it was already clear that a website designed for college kids to see more pictures of their hot classmates and another website designed to share what you had for lunch would completely change the dynamics of democracy and world politics in general.
