unsurprisingly i'm not the first person to wonder about this! there's a bunch of really promising research, and i just wish it were available for people struggling with chemo & existing treatments now

Read about Carl June’s work dating back to 1980s and 1990s where the discovery of the CD28 costimulatory domain allowed us to begin to understand how to activate T cells and then combine with initially lentiviruses (HIV w/o HIV insert) inserting chimeric antigen receptors
