oh how I wish online tools were as powerful / fluid as mathematica! really think more computer people should try it. access to metaphors and tools and integration that few products can match in power, sophistication, brevity and presentation. Manipulate[Plot[f(x),{x,0,n}]]

Oliver and I have been homeschooling. My method is super simple and straightforward. Buy at least 1 book on the issue and work through the book together. Look for cool extra stuff to incorporate. Barnes and Nobles is my go-to.
