wonder if the mRNA vaccines (pfizer, moderna) work against long covid by flooding the body with enough spike protein that, in addition to rallying the immune system, it also binds to ACE-2 and blocks whatever low lying infection with replication near 1, driving it to extinction

Hi! I think the more likely explanation is it rallies the immune system to be able to clear out spike protein more efficiently.
