I encouraged the Wikimedia community to keep its early days social, man-of-the-people spirit. We should defend human rights and co. It is largely rejected. Be friendly to those, yes. Be openly supportive, no. Unfortunate : knowledge, internet rights, human rights, are connected.

On our linguistic diversity project i co-initiated, I was scold by another lead user that denouncing linguistic oppression was "too political" for the main account and I should stop cc this account. This "ignore abuses" spirit is a shame.
