water evaporates at a much higher rate than salt ions in water, so water coming out in precipitation is very pure, nearly distilled. it dissolves minerals over time as it runs down to e.g. oceans

well there’s all kinds of minerals in the crust of the planet, some of those came out in the rocks, after weathering, others in ash or gaseous emissions, sodium, potassium, chlorine, lithium, calcium, etc, all part of the matter that gravitationally coalesced to form the planet
