So, it looks like post-COVID we will see a lot of office jobs go to work from home. Remote work is going to be a lot more popular. However, schools will probably drop remote learning like a hot rock. It's probably worth pondering why remote work works and remote school doesn't.

Children learn better with/from their peers than independently. At least K-12. There is a peer effect. Also, Long-term success in business relies on interpersonal and social skills. Young kids HATE Zoom btw. Hate it.

definitely think the peer to peer instruction is extremely important. eric mazur at harvard demonstrates that it’s one of the best ways to teach university physics, so this isn’t just a young childhood thing!
