idea, could one sell power and energy storage legally into Texas (which is normally restricted) by making hydrogen on one side of a state border, and piping it in to the other side, on the Texas border (perhaps to a windfarm) one might stand to earn a lot and provide grid support

yes! indeed it would be illegal! this would be a way for energy storage in hydrogen to be economically competitive as it comes down the cost curve, because of power arbtirage during outage events like we just had occur

it’s a complex issue and i don’t know all of the details, but most of Texas is on a separate grid which is the work around for the fact that they are regulated by two completely different systems! The feds wanted to regulate the national grid
