I want to do a Clubhouse w/ someone who knows a bit about book printing and binding about how you should NOT try to find the Forbidden Seuss pdfs and talk about the worst ways to print them & which equipment you definitely shouldn't buy
...do you know anyone who read those books before this kerfuffle? not sure it really counts as cultural heritage so much as just past literary works. fwiw the purging has me nervous but these specific books are kind of a curious place to make a stand lol

I remember really liking Mulberry Street as a kid. But the bigger issue is that a small cadre of woke activists were able to roll a major institution like this with a couple of years of pressure.

there's a lot of activist pressure these days, from many sides. institutions are besieged. if you want to avoid conflict it's not clear what to do. but dr. seuss enterprises has definitely triggered a Streisand effect for now
