People say "Oh, Boomers could get jobs so easily, you'd just walk in the door and they'd hire you" but have never tried going door-to-door asking for work. I've done this, and can report (1) it's way more psychologically taxing than emailing in applications (2) it got me a job.

That one happened before
@SamoBurja acquired his first office, but it's also a good story. I informed Samo that I was appointing myself to his research team. He agreed in principle, but I had to do this three times before it stuck. Later he founded Bismarck and I went with him.1 reply 0 retweets 35 likes
