bitcoins supply is a finite limit, meted out at a rate that cuts in half everytime. (1/2)^x convergent series maybe having a supply limited is good but you could still have an inexhaustible/infinite supply with 1/x, growing logarithmically i feel it maps better to our world?

i feel like you have to judge them as systems when they get to the same scale. i don't think you can have just an endless parade of alts, they have to differentiate technically
