is nearly all of Texas going to be hit with a like 30x regular electric bill or what? i wonder how much power is on fixed contract

Maybe. I hope. The users happily increased their risk in exchange for slightly lower monthly bills and ‘choice’. Uninformed choice, but still they or their legislature wanted choice. But it seems that the risk was too high. I’d expect some of these providers to declare BK.
