When your entire population is on fire with COVID, it's really tough to separate the forests for the trees. Thus said, best protocols are to keep safety measures in place until we come closer to the end of the pandemic. However that happens.

since different territories will have different vaccines we will start to have some signal, but it would have been nice to do it sooner

10 years of testing was rushed into 9 months. It is what it is. It's most important to stay honest about what we don't know. We don't know if assymptomatic transmission is possible on the vaccine and to what degree. I guess we'll all find out together?

Admitting what we don't know is crucial to ensure public trust AND keep people safe! Don't run around saying that it's impossible to get and spread COVID once you're vaccinated. It gives a false sense of confidence and might be wrong.
