There's definitely that kind of math problem where once you solve it you've learned a ton but it's so conceptually alien that you never feel any "flow" and you just feel drained afterwards rather than excited.

I mean once I recover I'm sure I'll be more excited. Today was learning about how to conceptualize topologies as universal constructions in category theory and it had so many moments of "I have no idea what to do". It felt like setting a bone.
