twitch streaming platform but it's for music; users can join in and jam with you. latency's a hard problem but you can compose loops and ai can sync them up and you can decide whether / where to play alongside.
woah! this looks like really useful software, thank you for the link i was thinking something with more structure might be important to bring the latency down even further, predictive but honestly if musicians can adapt with current software it might not be totally necessary.

one of the things i'm thinking about is that, if you restrict the range of musical notes to the same key / mode, and quantize the timing, it's easy to sound good and play along. there might be ways to make playing music together at a distance in some ways more accessible,
