What programming languages do today’s new startups code in? It feels like the days of C++ and Java are over, but what has replaced them?

I was surprised to learn that Stripe was coding in Ruby, but the tradeoff seems to have advantaged them i have been hearing a lot about rust and go of course but i don’t know how much is actually in production

it’s an amazing language; but it isn’t as fast, and python seemed to be more learnable so people were taught that it’s an excellent hackers language, in terms of concision i think only mathematic and like APL beat it out, neither are as suitable for most larger projects
