I don’t know what you’re talking about really, you could be implying like three different things, and still ignoring like four different valid points. for what it’s worth not that this is popular, but the biggest reason we shouldn’t surrender to the virus is mutation

a) older people matter b) both presidential candidates are over 70, it’s not like everyone can be expected to quarantine lt c) we had a chance to completely eradicate the virus with much less cost but it’s still possible d) morbidity / long covid e) long term mortality unbounded

f) mutation, again, lethality unbounded g) studies indicated that infection rates in the older population rose just 9 days after the younger, so it’s not like separating these age groups for long is a solved social problem
