We could totally go interplanetary in under 100 years if we worked at it, so that's not too bad of a deadline. Who else wants to bet we'll ignore it until an hour before the Earth is vaporized and then launch a rushed, conventional generation ship 1 minute before the deadline?

If I’m given a 5 billion year deadline, I guarantee it’s going to the bottom of the backlog

- 1 billion year before all
on
is destroyed by heat,
- 200 million years to reconstitute fossil
that are necessary to kick start an interplanetary civilisation, with no guarantee that it will happen 1/2 -

will eventually disappear without leaving *any* trace, apart of a few Pioneer space probes.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
