well, then ignore what i said about the primaries (even if i think it’s kind of related to the op point) what’s the best counter argument to the number of delegates normalized to state population? (at least! popular vote may still be better, removing overfocus from swing states)

against which one must way the tens of millions in populous states which have effectively minimal impact on the vote, as they are not in swing states. I agree it is already a compromise position, but disagree that it has already gone too far. As it stands, it ignores too much
