Herd immunity is such a bad strategy. doesn’t happen for flu, doesn’t happen for cold, flu, measles, strains just keep evolving & circulating in waves till we stamp it out with vaccines don’t defeat the virus & we’re probably in for a decade of covid19, covid20, covid21, etc.

Exactly. The Sweden model people ignore this. Also, temperatures play a role and Sweden is already a socially distant nation...

I did places where that wasn’t quite as true it was quite a bit worse. Social distance from the epicenter’s of the pandemic was lower in Stockholm and it has a higher population density. and then populations were working from home wasn’t as possible you had it worse

they still had to take it very seriously. it’s not an option in the United States because having already been overwhelmed contact tracing won’t work. also compliance in the social safety net just isn’t in the same ballpark
