Hope, human hugs, and the illusion that my child might have a chance of living in a world that isn’t dying. (Though if you look at wealth distribution and climate, the before times were probably at least 50 years ago, so even our nostalgia is an illusion.)

Spontaneous hangouts. Spontaneous affection. Not having to worry about & double check my/my friends covid status or quarantine practices. Not having to be nosy like that. Miss being able to sieze life moment to moment without needing to check the safety of those moments first.

-When people weren't so quick to pass judgement. -weren't so angry -were more amicable -kept their political views private. Things americans forgot: We don't discuss politics or religion. What's wrong with people these days?

And on another note... Why do people constantly label themselves? Living by a label just allows for society to further scrutinize. Ie: race, sex/gender affiliation, political parties, religions. No labels no lies, no front to hide behind. I'd rather just identify with my name.
