A new study finds kids with covid have viral loads that may be 10, 100, even 1000-fold higher than hospitalized adults. But that does not *necessarily* mean they are more contagious, despite the coverage. Still... a worrying study for sure.

If the kids propel the virus into the air by a cough and sneeze or plosive consonants won’t they be contagious?

The point is that PCR tests detect RNA, not live virus. So it's hard to 1:1 correlate these. Should we worry? Yes. But so far it doesn't look like kids are the major spreaders of the virus. Rather it's bursts due to groups clustering indoors.

why do you say it doesn't look like kids are the major spreaders of the virus? they seem to have a quite high attack rate with each other, and when isreal reopened schools that had a severe spike
