i think it's on the whole well reasoned, but public school is not good for everyone - my support of school choice in general is on the basis of freedom pandemic changes things, we have a problem, so, we need to innovate a lot of approaches. large institutions are slow to change

Agree that freedom is important and institutions are slow to change. However, the reality on the ground is that school choice and homeschooling as they’re currently implemented leaves the kids who can’t opt out in a worse place than they’d otherwise be. That’s important.
