Yeah. There's definitely quality of service arguments here. But I'm still having trouble seeing cost of service being cheaper. My wife dropped out of school in grade 8 and homeschooled through tutors and college courses. It's not for everyone. Definitely more resource intense.

...she had a way better outcome: Less stress, very high near perfect SAT, choice of colleges, etc. But she's a different kind of person. Autodidact. Strongly introverted. Etc. Not everyone likes school. It's easier to teach those that want to be taught and have it together.

I see that part too: serious bonding time. But for someone like me who liked being alone, I don’t know it I’d ever have learned the few social skills I do have haha. Thank god for school.
