You don’t need to get Rt < 1 for herd immunity. Herd Immunity Threshold (HIT) = 1 - 1/Rt; and Masks and social distancing keeps R0 below 1.25. So plugging that in, HIT = 1 - 1/1.25 = 20% HIT equation from here - https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7151357/ …

well, Sweden doesn't have that, and I'd really dispute your Rt numbers. also, this completely doesn't work mathematically if you have a subpopulation that is a reservoir of disease, because these can seed infections in the rest of the population over and over. e.g. thru travel
