If someone actually lived a life that were totally open, transparent, and public, would they simply be canceled, or would the world learn empathy?

they'd be immune to the self-consciousness feedback loops then & continue being completely honest, but they'd need to invest in bodyguards to protect from unpredictable violent feedback loops from the audience :-p

you either tone yourself down so much that no one feels hurt, but then you would hardly be making any non-trivial point, or you try being honest and end up hurting someone's feelings.
