Specifically we need to be competitive in the 3nm and 5nm nodes. It's a huge challenge technically.

I think there are other ways. Physics R&D — e.g. being the first to solve optical comms at the edge of compute/memory etc.

Instead of competing to be just another cutting edge node fab, figure out something no one else can do so this is the only place to get that tech.
