With the last of my liquidity I was willing to wager on the market, I bought some long dated (Jan 21st 2022) NKLA Puts. $2.50 strike.

That's the threat! I can't find any damn thing about the fuel cell which is supposed to power this thing and that's the actual key technology. The whole thing looks like a total scam.

It's a massive pain the the fuel cell is low power density and high cost. It's a really bad fit for the needs of a pickup track, and only makes sense for truck for very long haul duty. The engineering miracles they are promising are enormous, and there are no details on tech.

If I had understand it, they power with h2 and use fuel cell. fuel cell was already tested for some time by different german car manufacturer but they obviously didnt bring it to the masses... but they also didnt push on battery also...

I think the tech is there, but it needs big net of h2 distribution as it is with gas now... (and also production of the same)
