Wanted to return to Sihanoukville but Cambodia seemed the only country on earth more dangerous than Vietnam. Excluded Thailand for similar reasons and flew to Penang and then Kedah in Malaysia

Another theory is that infection control isn’t that difficult in principle, doesn’t require a lot of resources, depends on collective uptake, and that Vietnam was good at it.

Was there mask wearing? Is that a factor? Maybe the humidity and heart plus mask wearing is enough to get Rt < 1
