Read an estimate that, globally, COVID19, all told will represent about a 1 month loss of life for everyone, averaged over the world population Putting aside whether this is accurate (not sure ofc) and the impact of mutants, how much of a sacrifice is too much to not wear masks?
I mean I think that’s two months would do it if everyone did it but suppose we fuck up and don’t do it very well maybe six months - year total

1 month of life for 2 months of wearing masks seems like a bargain. 6 months still. Not sure where I would actually draw the line. I think it also depends on where to wear masks, just in public spaces, shops, transport or also in private spaces.
