I imagine people coming together for X hours straight (maybe a weekend) and just coming up with an idea for a book and by the end of the event, they have a final draft. They would be able to get feedback, consult authors, and meet other aspiring authors all while having fun :)

this is how the Spayer school the original school for gifted children by leta hollingworth in NYC worked. The kids came together and collaborated on a book. they focused on air transport ground transport illumination, really cool topics like that
