Yeah it should, but considering most infections are from close proximity to an infected person, I don't see UV lamps as a great way to mitigate that risk. IIRC SARS-CoV-2 doesn't stay infectious very long in the air. That's not to say UV lamps are useless here though
hm! that is not my understanding. my understanding is that the virus lasts for many days, can be deactivated by UV / sunlight. but that infections via indoors / AC environments is spiking, and that it's about the amount of time you spend in a space with a lot of viral load.
