Work on facilitating the transition and without a bunch of death. The transition is the problem area. Hypothesizing is fun, but some very powerful people have way too much power and money and this system benefits them.

well, it's impossible to do this for everyone all at once, but if we start with a community of early adopters / builders the stuff that we make to make it good can be scaled and productised and copied and so on, which might cause the permanent shift. it takes a village!

the food will be partially supplied by the delivery networks and partially (mainly) by direct farming (with drip irrigation and some robotic assistance), polyculture. rural area. it's still connected to the global economy but it will shift very DIY eg https://www.opensourceecology.org/
