just thought of a simplification for explaining how I deal with my brain: instead of todo lists, I have "doing" and "done" lists. I navigate by what's in the rear view mirror – if I don't like it, I change what I'm doing now. planning ahead often just stresses me out needlessly

where a "todo list" would be, I have things that look more like "curiosity lists", "would-be-nice lists", etc. I've found that I can mostly trust myself to figure out the details if I don't pre-commit too much to some specific form or action. I... use the force, lol

visa is doing final edits (99.4%) ✍🏾 📖 @visakanvTime for quackposting! There is something like mana or chi or energy, The Force, whatever, I don’t care what we call it. Emotional energy. You can feel it at major sporting events, and at literal riots. It’s a kind of fire, or electricity, and it is both powerful and dangerous pic.twitter.com/LLrbJQ2KFCShow this thread1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

have you ever experienced physical response to your movements or thought along the directions of your chi feeling? in the winter when I was working out (say, curls with iron weights) the trees around me would literally bend (slightly but observably) with ever rep, super weird

working out definitely affects perception IME – I find that music slows down when I've been working out

Oh definitely. I mean I physically experience magnetic pull in my body and can actually feel the pull, especially with iron and neodymium iron boride

oooh. I can imagine that there would be such a thing but I don't think I'm that sensitive. I remember one of my friends writing about how she's gotten that kind of sensitivity re what she eats

it's extremely interesting. it got really strong during the winter solstice and during February 14th - 28th. As if, I dunno, we had run out of universe, causing quantum coherence or something? microwaves physically hurt and I had to hide from them, prev these effected my sight
