@jasonmill — BS. We were noting the need to close borders and institute mandatory mask wearing and testing since January when the data certainly supported that this would be a pandemic.

Eradication is still possible but requires immense effort. Eradication was certainly quite possible even within March, and would have been relatively easy compared to the existing effort in February. Specific governments slow played this, like idiots!

totally different scenario. they're struggling with important cases. if the US and the western world and china all dealt with it like sensible countries in January and February it would be licked by now probably & it would be exponenitally less likely to come back via importation

Eradication was impossible, except countries like Singapore and South Korea implemented rapid testing and quarantine measures with mandatory mask wearing that curtailed spread of the virus and virtually eradicated in their countries. Come on now.

close borders to countries that are risks, and yes it could ahve been over with in the first 2 months if we acted properly/ weren't being lied to / weren't beign credulous about it.
