I think it's pretty important to be able to build and without it you have to convince programmers to do things and that is like herding cats who want to build compilers
best way to manage such tendencies is to threaten to program it yourself
if you're asking *me* to do it...

programmers are famously (and reasonably) territorial!

"territorial" probably the same with philosophers... i'm not sure why i'm not... maybe it is a hubris thing, and i'm foolproof to it, without identity, no fame to create obstacles, no ego to defend.. just the earnest readiness to understand the world and a clarity of purpose

described it so others may see its advantages & adopt similar strategy in their problem-solving back to the main topic, i guess one can always write a white paper like Satoshi did (or better, do a Bret Victor-style interactive page), the community will self-organize & build it

this is incredibly challenging! the environment must be ripe for it and it must be tended.

to design and build: monetary sovereignty for all, dismantle disproportionate "privilege" power, a global carbon emissions target guideline, but otherwise, local empowerment of people, with sufficient basic income + mutual credit flowing to fund local projects, What else?

it seems like we have to deal with monopolists on power abusing that power. it seems we need a kind of amorphous power.
