long term project: an ai galileo, which uses a distribution of functions / a version of ockham's razor to fit familes of curves to data for me (and can select experiments, sampling and so on) details interesting and a lot to work out!

yeah of course, this, this was inspired by some amazing work at cornell (hop lipson's lab) that could even derive the equations of motion from a chaotic double epndulm from data by using parsimony of expression as a mertic for fit. I wanted to generalize this in interesting ways
