Imagining if light works like this, and there's a pulse that goes out first & then returns *rapidly* once it reaches a destination.https://twitter.com/matthen2/status/1266579585417613312 …

I feel like we're discussing the quantum entanglement of paired photonics whereby an originating particle acts as the sender and the other a tracer path until it reaches the conclusion, then flashes back the calculated answer. All in a moment.

yes, it's very much like that, the idea space this lives in.

That would make for an interesting premise. The effective resolution for reality is quantum based, as simultaneous material pixel and self computing fabric of wimpy processing on an infinite scale.

something like it. these are elements of something that could be a theory, or perhaps a protocol for a mesh network computing / communication system.

If a 53 Qubit system is the most powerful quantum computer on Earth right now, imagine an infinite Qubit computer. Simultaneously the computation and the computer. Self referential computation running a causality loop against infinite outcomes to collapse into a singularity

Sounds like you are describing existence itself. Question is, if there are infinite outcomes on an infinite quantum computer, does that mean that there is no collapse or singularity, as there are infinite paths and infinite solutions? Existence infinitum.

My personal experience is there is collapse

Maybe local, but system-wide? The localized collapse becomes a thread in the beautiful tapestry of the cosmic weaving.

I don’t know about the dynamics. I don’t think that it collapses to a single point.
