Nucleic acid test. Not sure how RNA is extracted but likely a 5-6 hour test from sample collection to result. Reagents and consumables have long shelf life (6 mos+) when stored properly.

It’s in a 96-well plate format. Can run 92 samples at once for well under $150/sample. Probably more like $20/sample
