Cheating slightly, as the set of Gingery books were released as a single volume, but hardbacks are a pain to use in the workshop. The AtoZ is the second copy i've owned. First one fell to bits after 15 years. :Dpic.twitter.com/B09JE3xvgL

We built multiple versions of the furnace. This was version 0.7, https://wiki.london.hackspace.org.uk/view/Project:GingeryFurnace … :D The largest version was made from a beer barrel, and could melt glass. :D Lightest version could cast Aluminium with zero Carbon costs. :D

Using a 12V computer fan feeding into a tuyere with nested Venturi nozzles, we could melt aluminium using BBQ charcoal. Charge the 12V battery with a solar panel, and use FSC charcoal, and it's Carbon-Neutral. :D
