Yes, I'm thinking of doing this! My idea is to make a global AR system on earth (& elsewhere) with noneuclidean geometry where you can pack as much virtual stuff into any space as you like, & tie this together with the virtual world. & then root a map of this into property rights

Actual space is non-euclidean! But I will have demo, uhhh, real soon now ™ This talk by William Thurston at the Clay Research Conference is *incredible.*https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jdmkUQDWtQ …

This reminds me of a theory I read about many years ago that each point in space corresponds to a Calabi-Yau manifold w/ 6 dimensions. Space would then be 10-dimensional (inc. time). “The elegant universe” may or may not be dated by now but god was that a mind opening read.

There's something astonishing interesting that we're reaching towards, but bullies have stopped progress in physics (and magic) for many decades, centuries even. I got a chance to spar a bit with Ed Witten, John Horton Conway, and David Mermin at a talk at Princeton...

I am totally with John H. Conway and Ed Witten on trying to reach beyond our current understanding of physics, breaking past the confusion that arises from Q measurement. Quantum Physics is a linearized theory, & we have overfit the error! There is a problem with our epistemology

Two bits on Witten. He studied *History*, with a minor in Linguistics. Then, entering Princeton, he was an assigned graduate student, & of course he did amazingly in his TA duties. The next grad student was so outclassed, the prof complained to the chair "what is wrong w/him?"

“people think math is complicated. Math is the simple bit. It's the stuff we can understand. It's cats that are complicated. What is it in those molecules & stuff that make one cat behave differently than another, or that make a cat? How do you define a cat? I have no idea.”
