Would be nice to have the emergency power option with existing cars, while the new million-mile battery cars have full grid participation for peaker activity. One hurdle: Grid-tie systems need to be under the control of the utility for safety. Good thing we have OTA updates!

Well, Eric Wesoff was running a scheme to take HECO down and try to buy it (with some PE house maybe) The most likely competition is Blackrock. It's serious competition, but they're so leveraged that there will probably be a gap of time when they have no liquidity.

Probably they have made tens of billions. So you use this kind of wealth for equity and then raise debt from this incredibly cheap fiat, and buy the transmission and distribution companies (not the generation assets). You make the generation assets yourself with storage
