we need to create a new generation of leaders and then give the old leaders and opportunity to join on the bandwagon

I'm not sure age has to do with it. its even looks more like the young ppl they have put in positions of authority are playing the system. Yes the old folks might not have the new knowledge, but some of these young guys arnt passing the new info to them.

They should give space to new ones with digital technology knowledge not analogs. I also agree with u, cos I have a typical good example of the young once ruling so poor. Corruption has taken over our leader. But I think the old leader are the one producing the bad young leader

Yes this is a possibility as its not clear what is driving the behavior of the young ones, especially the young gatekeepers. But I also think wisdom comes with age, old age isnt necessarily a bad thing.

I didn't have to explain N95/respirator to my dad he understood the basis of what i was saying. I think this would be thesame for most people his age. But, if they dont know its possible to have or make it locally, they might not be any policy or decision to use it.

This is little edge the young gatekeepers are playing on, most are taking advantage of this little bit flaw for their own personal gains.

If we can find one respected and wise old person to connect to our wise young people, that would be the beginning. Who could it be?

Yes, now you are getting into how business is done Africa, direct connection to the decision makers. So if you don't have the connection, you basically cant get business done.

I can get the connection if I know the right name.

The right name is the name of the person that maybe heads the organisation or people in his/her network. You can usually get the name of the head of the organisation from their website or google search.
