Why do most people dislike going to sleep? People get pleasure from most biologically important activities, like eating, drinking, sex, and even defecation, but going to sleep is unpleasant (though actually *being* asleep is well-liked).

It's just a matter of modern life getting in the way of biological rhythms. I work 16 hour days and now I *love* going to sleep.

I'll bet. 16 hours is a lot! Most foragers seem to only work 7-8 hours, though, so I'm not sure the work part of modern life is to blame here. Maybe the *type* of work is less physically taxing, or more anxiety inducing, or both?

Both. To be fair I wouldn't be working this hard if we were not at war. I would probably work only 4 hours a day.

At war with China, you mean, or something else?

I'm at war with coronavirus. I've been working 15-20 hour days til I collapse for 3 months now, minus this week. Taking a break.
