The idea is to use testing and modelling *to help direct further testing and modelling* We can use data from social networks (anonymised) and other sources to synthesise a current risk map, and also a sort of, I'm not sure what to call it, risk squared map...

Put the entire US inside it. Now. We need to provide access to tests for symptomatic people. I tried 5x's to get tested. My friend had a fever for 54 days. Neither of us were able to access tests.

I understand this, this is why I fled on Jan 27th. It is possible there are some places that are ok, but honestly I have no idea. My network on FB (we called ourselves the "Earth Defence Fund") has some success in acquiring and distributing tests. Let me have them reach out.

There really isn't a point. Either we have it or we don't, but looking for hotspots is futile sheen your entire country is a hotspot and refusal to test is your strategy.

Well, my thinking is, you can still use a (sharp) Sigmoid distribution to define "life" or "death" zones (not to discriminate against the color-blind), and like, provide music on the app that is vastly more intense in the death zones, and ping them to wash hands intensely etc.pic.twitter.com/EAAuTY3zpc

That theory is one of many theories. A friend from South Korea told me, "treat the symptoms." At this point in time, being aware of the symptoms and treating them may be our best defense. Hopefully, going forward this will not be the case.

So, to be quite honest, even though this current wave is an enormous tragedy, I want to concentrate on the existential threat here, which is some combination of: - Total War (WW3) - BAD Mutation - Total Organ Failure (of the World Economy) - Total Organ Failure (of the Humans)

Not everyone will die. At the same time, it isn't good.

Not directly, you are right, but potential casualties include: - Freedom in the USA - The potential for a multiplanetary civilization within our lifetimes - The coral reefs - The rainforests - "Europe" - "The American Way" - Freedom in Asia

I will still be fighting, when and if it is sticks and stones. but i really hope it doesn't have to be.

We've gone from a heat death social universe, where almost nothing mattered to an extreme kind of path dependency, a universe in which an accurate history is physically impossible myth takes on psychophysical meaning (as feelings rule) and tiny things matter
