If we are legit talking about what I see as "the rabble" then I will remain agnostic and say they may be neck-and-neck. But nor is the rabble who you believe they are.

The media itself is rabble. Read the
@balajis tweets I retweeted, come to your own conclusion, they are the "masters of morality" and they are literally killing themselves. Mean girls took over society & yes, that's a problem. They speak without knowledge, care, or responsibility1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Again, I agree with you specific individuals in journalism, as in any industry, engage in behavior like this. Corporate and government interests make it extremely dangerous not 2comply with mandatory immorality. It HAS ruined people's lives. However the answer isn't 2 generalize.

no, there must be a vicious, decisive attack against moralizing and centralized control if we are to have *any* chance at survival. the journalists have shown themselves incapable of system critique. therefore it *must* come from outside. let *them* fight for credibility.

Irresponsible journalism has harmed lives. White nationalists and techno-fascists have done far, far more damage, AND their ideology is essentially, intrinsically destructive—whereas the very idea of journalistic reporting itself is not. It's a question of priority and emphasis.

i will agree that it is more the fault of the editors, and the owners, but they have allowed themselves to be corrupted and have lashed out at the very people that should be their allies. NO! They are simply too weak to be trusted.

I did ask, actually! You said it was not yet time to discuss it. If you want to have that conversation privately, I am 100% game.
