terrible. workers need to be able to decide for themselves, on the basis of safety. we should be offering them UBI and allowing them to come to work if they wish. not forcing them.https://twitter.com/aneel/status/1256208532220887040 …

I pingpong several times on UBI. To end exploitation of vunerable people its absolutely essential and should have been implemented decades ago. Yet in a family everyone has to pitch in and help with work. Society is a big family. What happens in a family when members dont work.

obviously, let’s do this *first* because its the necessary response to the pandemic, and then we’ll have the data. my guess is that productivity and learning will grow exponentially for some, and the others will catch on as they discover how much fun there is to be had.

Money printer go Brrr. The powers that be do not want UBI because their power derives from control of information and wage slavery and they're just constitutionally incapable of seeing this. Even when they try to do UBI, they take out the U! IT's so dumb because it's killing them

I can see wage slavery everywhere , its amazing to believe after 5000 odd years of civilisation thats our best plan. While at the same time every family member has to pull there weight and contribute to the family no free lunches.

imagine: - training for life skills, food, shelter, safety, belonging, growth, exploration, generativeity - a heatmap of what is dangerous place to go (viral) - a smart AI to arrange notifications in sync with your body's rhythms - generative music - infinite canvas - currency
