Not including the military, what jobs or professions do you personally think the American public should respect most?

Or am I wrong, do you just mean people pay lip service to supporting cleantech but do not actually take concrete action to give climate scientists proper respect and create conditions 2 allow companies like LightSail to thrive?

Danielle, when you say youve "been there," I am assuming you might mean that women (esp LGBT+POC) often are not fairly recognized in their careers despite their merit or skill, and instead have 2 perform femininity/appease male egos and libidos 2advance in their jobs?

Right, so there is also the way that other demographics (low income, disabled, LGBT and esp trans women) are more likely to feel forced 2enter sex work as a profession due to social stigma. It pays the bills for them but is dangerous+stigma against sex work compounds prior stigma

Simultaneously we should respect the dignity+skill+value in this form of service labor, +also acknowledge that as long as it is (sometimes) criminalized+(always)dangerous, we must ensure ppl who are poor/trans/disabled/etc can choose+dont face discrimination@ other types of jobs
