Sorry for the confusion! Yes this is about turning Twitter into something like a Memex
Imagine if Twitter were *smart* and multidimensional and had a memory.
I tagged you because you are awesome. Sorry!
Or read Vannevar Bush, who imagined this in 1945https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/1945/07/as-we-may-think/303881/ …

I get it and it should be possible. Twitter could be used as a graph database. But the tweets themselves would lose individual legibility as the representation later moves up, if that makes sense?

Well, the idea is that you can renormalize around *anything* so that it's like an infinite, fractal map of thought. For a sense of what this looks like geometrically, try the Frax app on your phone or tablet.

Nooo, this should not happen. You have to keep the complexity always a notch before fractalization; the fractal is only modeling itself.

haha that was me trying to keep up with *you* mr putnam fellow... to a large extent this work was trying to release a lot of ideas and links in a “burst mode” that would necessarily take longer to absorb than to communicate -this would create time for me and leave breadcrumbs :)
