That—was so incredible. I’m crying too. Their love for Emmylou and getting to perform it for her was so palpable.

When I was a kid I used to say I liked all music except for country and rap—and today all I’ve listened to is country and
@Malcolm_Ocean’s rap. And I love both.3 replies 0 retweets 5 likes -

You can do better than a Trump musical - a Neronic tragicomic farce If you want to work in the Hamilton vein, do what Miranda *should* have done: the Toussaint L'Ouverture musical. Les Misérables but with a slave revolt that took over half of Hispaniolahttps://twitter.com/Timber_22/status/1188102518393327621?s=20 …

an inspirational badass, scholar, strategist, tactician, warrior, poet, lawyer, lover, and friend. also an orphan, an immigrant, and a fair warning to wait for it, and not rely on the honour of others.

...he doesn't "put the screws to" the audience & really get in their face and challenge them on what the colonialists created (industrial latifundia of cash crops, powered by stolen labour & life-force, destruction of African families) and then what the revolutionists perpetuated
